Isn't this the most beautiful tree? I think it's the European Beech, but please correct me if I'm wrong, it's in front of Louis Kahn's library at Philip's Exeter in Exeter NH. It's difficult to imagine the scale in this phot though, the trunk of that tree is about 6' in diameter.
