ok so saturday mila and todd and i decided to go shopping at tyson's corner mall, a HUGE mall in this area. we knew we were in for an 'experience' when we saw a dj set up in bloomingdales...i mean, you know, presidents day is nothing more than a shopping holiday.

so we decided to have lunch. we walked to the other side of the mall to a restaurant called coastal flats. if you want to see the menu, you can find it at www.greatamericanrestaurants.com. it is awesome....well somehow mila and i got it into our heads that we should have martinis....i got keylime, she got mango. OH MY GOD were those good. well, after that, she decided that she needed another drink that i can't remember and she ordered me a chocolate martini. YUM. but we were drunk. so we went shopping drunk. we made todd sit in lane bryant for like 30 minutes while we bra shopped. as it happened, i walked back to the clearance rack--found the most ADORABLE black dress that was originally 80 bucks but marked down 50%. well...how can i pass that up? i also found jeans for 9 bucks. well this dress is sleeveless and shimmery and low cut and flattering on me so i get it..turns out--it's 9.99
and the jeans are 6 bucks. can you beat that?

on top of all that--on our way out i stop at bloomies for eyeliner....and yes, it's clinique bonus time!

a good time was had by all.
