I STILL KNOW IT JENN!!!

So we went to the UVA campus after that, just to give them a Hokie gobble on the mall. I'll admit the center of campus is beautiful, but that's all I'll give em. So we were only there two seconds, then we left for Jen's. We made it with very few problems.

Tuesday night, I don't remember what we did. OH yeah, we went to red robin and had very good burgers. Hey Jen, you must have 12,000 pounds of leftovers in your fridge. I forgot about the red robin remnants.

Wednesday it was a nice day, if a bit chilly, so we went to the zoo. We had a very good time. I loved the gorilla's and the elephant. We also went to the Vietnam and Lincoln memorials. We were all quite thrilled at all of these attractions.

Wednesday night we had pizza hut which was pretty good. We then went home and made pumpkin pie. Then we watched Napoleon Dynamite, which we loved.

Thursday we went into DC again. This time we went to the American Indian museum first. We got a parking space RIGHT in front of the museum. Note to tourists: Do you want to go see the sites in DC? Go Thanksgiving week, no lines, no waiting and virtually no traffic to deal with.

I think we all concur that, while the American Indian Museum BUILDING, is VERY impressive, the museum exhibits are less so. We were less than impressed. The displays were lackluster and they have very few actual artifacts on display. The Maine indians are not really represented at all, due to their lack of casino income apparently.

After that we had a hot dog on the street then went to the American History Museum, where we spent a lot of time. I saw Julia's kitchen, and, of course, it made me cry. Isaiah enjoyed the president's exhibit and the super colliding super conductor, or whatever it's called. Maddy enjoyed the race car simulation. After that we took a VERY quick trip over to the natural history museum to see the dino's.

Then we went home to make thanksgiving dinner. I had a lot of fun cooking with Jen. We drank wine, had a very good dinner, watched Charlie Brown, had pie and finshed off the night with a replay of ND. We didn't watch the whole thing though as we were all exhausted.
