I don't really understand the phrase "red herring" anyway. Maybe you and sean could put together a list of 10 names - 5 each and there could be an internet vote and you'd have to name it that. You could do it american idol style. It would be a first in blog history. Or - better yet, you could have 1-900 phone number, people could call in and vote and you could charge them 99 cents each.
