movie review: Rashoman

This is an EXCELLENT movie by Japanese director Akira Kurosawa from 1950. Of course I'm partial to Japanese movies (I think it's all that Godzilla from my childhood), but this one really stands out. The cinematography and soundtracks really make the movie even if there was no story. What can I say, you'd have to see it to believe it. However, be on notice that the 88 minutes seem like 188, but that isn't a bad thing in this case.
